Regarding our modern knowledge and the present day, it becomes difficult to establish a relationship between the Universe where we are inserted, and the way we experience our family and daily lives.

 It is true that today there is a distance between the Universe and the life of humanity, in which the differences between both make them irreconcilable. This is a cultural and scientific reality that can hardly be ignored, and where Ancestral Astronomy can bring the necessary answers.

A system of observation — where Planetary Cycles and Events can be converted into archetypal definitions and Archetypes can be explained through Celestial Mechanics. — This knowledge allows us to relate, in a scientific and organic way, Astronomy with the physical and psychic manifestations of the Life of humanity, experienced upon the surface of the Earth — reestablishing the connection between the Universe and Humanity.

The connection between Astronomy and Life on Earth was, and remains, the most challenging mystery for which Humanity seeks a plausible scientific and spiritual answer.  From the ancestral world to the modern one, from science to spirituality, the question remains the same: where do we come from, where are we going, and what are we doing here?

When we reflect on this, we are drawn to physical Life, but also to the Life of the Soul. After all, what is our connection to Nature, to Heaven, and to Earth? What is our relationship with Space and Time, with Astronomy and the Universe?

Sobre os nossos conhecimentos modernos e a atualidade, torna-se difícil conseguir estabelecer uma relação entre o Universo onde estamos inseridos, e a forma como experimentamos as nossas vidas familiares e quotidianas. 

É verdade que existe, nos dias de hoje, um distanciamento entre o Universo e a vida da humanidade, no qual as diferenças entre ambos os tornam inconciliáveis. Esta é uma realidade cultural e científica que dificilmente poderá ser ignorada, e onde a Astronomia Ancestral pode trazer as respostas necessárias.

Sobre um sistema de observação — onde os Ciclos e Eventos Planetários podem ser convertidos em definições arquetípicas e os Arquétipos podem ser explicados sobre a Mecânica Celeste. — Este conhecimento permite relacionar, de forma científica e orgânica, a Astronomia com as manifestações físicas e psíquicas da Vida da humanidade, experimentadas sobre a superfície da Terra — restabelecendo a ligação entre o Universo e a Humanidade.

This project explores their origins, meanings, and the ways in which astrology relates to the astronomy of ancient cultures.

The astronomical calculation methods practiced by these ancestral cultures demonstrate that planetary cycles and orbits are far from random; instead, they occur in an orderly and proportional manner within their diverse dimensions and space-time relationships—a reality that is mathematically demonstrable.

Se um sábio astrónomo da antiguidade voltasse à Terra não seria de estranhar que a conversa não fluísse de forma compreensível com o astrónomo moderno, mesmo ambos especialistas de Astronomia.

Existe ainda um vazio científico entre o espaço que separa a Astronomia Ancestral da Astronomia Moderna tornando-as inconciliáveis. No entanto o que pude concluir nestes anos de estudo sobre os Calendários e Astronomia ancestral é que, estas duas astronomias são apenas duas perspetivas diferentes de olhar o Céu, ambas relevantes e científicas.

Procurei em livros e bibliotecas, vários campos de estudo e muitos especialistas. As respostas eram muitas, mas nenhuma explicava qual o mecanismo que teria dado forma aos Calendários.

This is the first episode regarding my 20-year research into the Mayan and Aztec time cycles in the Haab and Tzolkin calendars, carried out without books or masters.

It all began with curiosity and the quest to deepen the understanding behind those seemingly perfect and rigorous calendar grids.

After a long period of researching books, libraries, various fields of study, and many experts, the answers were plenty, but none explained the mechanism that would have shaped the calendars.

Hello everyone, and welcome to this journey through space-time on the Ancestral Astronomy Blog! Here, I will share the results of the research I have conducted over the last 20 years on the Maya and Aztec calendars, from a purely mathematical perspective, without prophecies or religious beliefs.

In this study, only the numbers mattered, and they spoke louder than a thousand words—or glyphs!

This theme intersects with countless areas of cultural knowledge, which is why its approach can become quite extensive. Therefore, I will organize the Ancestral Astronomy publications into three sections: two blogs with different publishing styles, and a gallery of my own drawings and paintings. All of these works are gathered together on the Ancestral Astronomy Website.

This Ancestral Astronomy Blog will explore concepts and ideas found along this enchanted path of astronomy practiced by humankind before the Christian Era. Meanwhile, the Manual of Ancestral Astronomy Blog will address subjects from a more technical, educational, and objective viewpoint, focusing on the practices used in ancestral cultures.

This way of studying and understanding astronomy cannot be confirmed in books or with scholars in today's culture. However, all the concepts and practices in which this astronomy is framed will be easily recognizable within the Whole; in Life, on Earth, in Space, and in Spirit.

Here, without lifting a foot off the ground, you will feel the Universe much closer. To finally understand how we are part of it, moving forward together, hand in hand, at great speed!
