Regarding our modern knowledge and the present day, it becomes difficult to establish a relationship between the Universe in which we exist, and the way we experience our family and daily lives.
It is true that today there is a distance between the Universe and the life of humanity, in which the differences between them make them irreconcilable. This is a cultural and scientific reality that can hardly be ignored, and where Ancestral Astronomy can bring the necessary answers.

A system of observation — where Planetary Cycles and Events can be converted into archetypal definitions and Archetypes can be explained through Celestial Mechanics. — This knowledge allows us to relate, in a scientific and organic way, Astronomy with the physical and psychic manifestations of the human life, experienced on the surface of the Earth — reestablishing the connection between the Universe and Humanity.

Ancestral Astronomy Life and the Soul

The connection between astronomy and life on Earth was, and remains, the most challenging mystery for which humanity seeks a plausible scientific and spiritual answer.
From the ancient world to the modern one, from science to spirituality, the question remains the same: where do we come from, where are we going, and what are we doing here?

When we reflect on this, we are drawn to physical life, but also to the life of the Soul. After all, what is our connection to nature, to heaven, and to Earth? What is our relationship with space and time, with astronomy and the universe?

The Earth and Ancestral Astronomy

The Earth, our blue planet, our cradle, our home, our grave.

More than a celestial body, the Earth was a spiritual entity to ancient cultures. A sacred planet where manifestations of both a physical and spiritual nature can be recognized, under the same laws of heaven, and in accordance with the universe.

A planet in the solar system that does not travel alone, but in the company of its small Moon. Its commanding beauty can be evident to all, in space and on its surface; everything about it is stunning.

The Moon's cycles around the Earth are described in full detail by Ancestral Astronomy, explained step-by-step or at any specific point in space and time.

Ancestral Astronomy offers entirely different astronomical perspectives and calculation techniques from those used today, providing a highly developed astronomical knowledge that allows us to follow the entire mechanics of Planet Earth's journey, along with the Moon and the Sun, across the universe.

Astrology and Ancestral Astronomy

The study of astronomy based on the Maya and Aztec calendars rendered an encounter with astrological practices inevitable.
This project explores their origins, meanings, and the ways in which astrology relates to the astronomy of ancient cultures.

The astronomical calculation methods practiced by these ancestral cultures demonstrate that planetary cycles and orbits are far from random; instead, they occur in an orderly and proportional manner within their diverse dimensions and space-time relationships—a reality that is mathematically demonstrable.

The wise astronomers of antiquity

Drawing of a hand, by Joana Burnay.
If a wise astronomer of antiquity returned to Earth, it would not be surprising if conversation would not flow easily with a modern astronomer, even though both are experts in Astronomy.

There is still a scientific void separating Ancestral Astronomy from Modern Astronomy, making them seem irreconcilable. However, what I have concluded over these years of studying Calendars and ancestral astronomy is that these two fields are simply two different ways of looking at the sky—both relevant and scientific.
