Many of these established concepts and conventions mirror the principles of this ancient astronomy; however, they are rarely recognized as such, nor are they attributed to any scientific origin within the foundational frameworks that justify their current use.
While the modern astronomical framework demonstrates absolute precision regarding planetary cycles and orbits, the ancestral method matches it with astonishing rigor and computational exactitude. Furthermore, delving deeper into these ancient scientific methods allows us to venture far beyond astronomy itself.
This research reveals that ancient civilizations operated under a scientific paradigm focused on the cyclical nature of reality—an observational framework where planetary expansion was not the only phenomenon proceeding circularly.

It was upon this circular reference frame—the 1440-Minute Matrix—that ancient cultures organically studied and interpreted the laws and manifestations of the universe. This system allowed them to observe the cyclical order governing the evolutionary unfolding and expansion of natural events across all scales and dimensions.
Under this methodology, no event or phenomenon could be evaluated in isolation, linearly, or as a detached entity. Instead, everything was understood through a fixed, fundamental pattern of natural evolution, faithfully reflected within the 1440-Minute Matrix.

In this system, the same time coordinate was combined with two opposing and complementary spatial dimensions. This practice established two orbital directions that were always recognized by astronomy—the solar directional motion and the sidereal directional motion—thus revealing the inherently dual nature of space, time, and planetary movements.
It is important to emphasize that the ancestral sidereal motion referred to in this Ancestral Astronomy project does not correspond to the modern astronomical model, where distant stars serve as reference points for measurement, which diverges from the framework of this study.
In astronomy, motion in the solar direction establishes a correspondence with the manifestation pattern of the physical and material plane on the surface of the Earth and throughout the universe.
Meanwhile, the sidereal direction of the planets relates directly to the model of the universe's psychical plane.
These are concepts belonging to astronomy and space-time that anatomically align with the dual expression of natural events and phenomena, both physical and psychical. The solar and sidereal directions exist in perfect harmony with the physical and psychical manifestation of the universe.

On the other hand, the meaning of the more creative character corresponding to the psychical plane manifested by the universe aligns with absolute precision to the concept attributed to sidereal direction in astronomy. This describes the secondary movement of any planet which, to avoid falling out of orbit, adds extra movements to its original path, allowing it to ascend, descend, spin, or wobble.
Solar and sidereal movements emerge in ancestral astronomy explained through speed dynamics—opposing, complementary, and simultaneous movements that grant space-time its creative and three-dimensional character.
This same system, stimulated by celestial dynamics, reproduces and manifests itself physically and psychically. It is a duality manifested by the universe and understood by ancient cultures, where the physical dimension acquires emotions and emotions take on a physical body, articulated proportionally in both expressions.
A template of life and of physical, psychical, and emotional form that is born, grows, and dies, strictly within the universal parameters and laws to which it belongs and which determine it. This entire mechanics weaves a structure of consistently proportional patterns, articulated across multiple dimensions in complete harmony and synchronicity.
This reality expressed in the sky can also be observed on the surface of the Earth—a system developing through living, physical structures that expand and interconnect. It is a diverse network of systems that reproduce, intersect, and evolve both collectively and individually at the same time.
When we introduce sidereal motion to planetary orbits, we begin to comprehend the three-dimensional depth of their mechanics—revealing their obliquity and the creative variations added to their regular movement, as observed in astronomy. The orbital oscillations recorded during these sidereal movements do not occur randomly; rather, they follow an order of proportionality and equilibrium established relative to the structure of orbital movements in the solar direction.
This is a fundamental principle of astronomy, a pattern that can be clearly recognized in the growth processes of natural phenomena on Earth.

The cycles and orbits to which natural events on Earth and in astronomy are subjected throughout their physical existence are not merely simple mechanical transits. They are accompanied by a continuous shift in circumstances—resulting in the constant alteration of the qualitative experience within all events and phenomena at every given moment.
Solstices and equinoxes offer a prime practical example to illustrate this complementarity between mechanical evolution and the variations in the natural properties of events. The orbital mechanics of the Earth around the Sun, through its translational motion, generates a constant and gradual transformation of its natural qualities—the cycle of the seasons.
The changes manifested by the different positions along our planet's orbit are felt both by the planet itself and by nature, altering the character of phenomena—globally, individually, in an integrated and continuous manner—in their perceptions, impressions, and stimuli as their activity unfolds.

A dynamic reality, multidimensionally constructed and generated from the structure of space-time, articulated and organized within its mathematical and geometric molds and patterns.
Nature was thus understood by ancestral cultures as a structure deeply rooted in the Earth, even though it was created upon the laws and dimensions dictated by the heavens. Earth's natural systems emerge seamlessly articulated and integrated with one another under the same laws, across all orders and dimensions, always operating within the parameters of balance and integrity expressed by space-time.
From this scientific perspective, whether observing events, animals, plants, or materials individually or collectively, nature was regarded as a single, integral structure spanning the horizontal space and time of the Earth's surface. Reality resembled a mantle cast by the heavens, unfolding across a mesh of integrated, cyclical, and evolutionary events—a dynamic with apparent life and willpower of its own, even while fully subjected to the laws and order of the universe.
It is from this correspondence between heaven and Earth that life and nature emerge, intrinsically bound to the space-time patterns described by planetary dynamics—a body of knowledge treated with deep scientific rigor by ancestral cultures.
This concept decisively rejected the notion that nature on the surface of our planet established itself autonomously. Instead, it was viewed as an extension of the astronomical events generated by its own orbit, translated into a reality projected onto a new, horizontal dimension.
The natural system of Earth's surface was explained by these cultures as a dynamic transmitting network aligned with the heavens—simply another dimension of the same space-time. The properties that determine space-time as the builder of life and nature in its purely physical dimension—even in full expansion and abundance—actually operate as a blind mechanism. It is functional, grandiose, and structurally harmonious, yet entirely incapable of expressing its qualitative dimension.
It is within the psychical dimension of the universe and of space-time, both in heaven and on Earth, that nature acquires the perception of the quality of experience. Ancient cultures considered this psychical system as deeply integrated with the physical dimension, like two sides of a single coin—fundamental manifestations of the universe that are complementary, simultaneous, and inseparable.
This scientific explanation of nature's psychical quality marks the sharpest point of divergence between ancestral and modern thought. For ancestral science, the physical manifestation of the universe is always accompanied by its psychical faculty—an essential property of matter that allows it to transcend its purely mechanical potential. Thus, it achieves its cognitive dimension, enabling it to perceive and comprehend the cyclical variations to which it is subjected during its processes of expansion and evolution, whether in the sky or on Earth.
The psychical dimension completes the operational code through which the universe manifests and creates life, matter, and nature. It adds an innate, organic sensitivity and emotionality to the dynamics of its natural systems—acting as the sensor that empowers nature to detect the stimuli received during its evolutionary mechanical experience.
Psyche is the natural quality of the universe that allows it to grasp and recognize the shifting variables and diverse aspects it encounters and interacts with—the very elements to which its system must adapt throughout its evolutionary cycles in space-time.
Thus, the dual physical and psychical dimension of the universe transforms nature into a dynamic endowed with its own intelligence. Through its internal sensory, cognitive, and emotional abilities, nature is able to process and respond to the stimuli detected at every moment of its expansion, translating them into varied experiences within its evolutionary system across space and time.
It is a system driven and woven by celestial dynamics—where matter becomes psychical and bodies acquire emotions. An evolution that unfolds simultaneously and completely integrated within the exact same space-time.

The frameworks shaping the ancestral principles that linked matter with the psyche and astronomy are the exact same ones that characterize the universe's patterns of expansion and manifestation. These unfold in a circular, cyclical, mathematical, and geometric manner, operating upon models of multiple orders, dimensions, and scales that remain perpetually proportional and in complete harmony and balance—this is space-time, the stage upon which Earth's journey unfolds across the universe and upon its surface.
Physical life and the life of matter establish themselves within the very same structure where the psychical and emotional system develops. They operate upon the same laws, patterns, dimensions, and scales, maintaining the exact same perfect mathematical and geometric harmony, balance, and proportionality determined by the universe—two complementary dimensions functioning simultaneously and proportionally.
It is a visible and invisible universe, multiplying from two dimensions that interact within a dynamic, three-dimensional network of shared space-time—where matter and bodies expand and evolve both internally and externally, whether individually or systemically.
Accounts of experiences induced by psychedelic substances in altered states of consciousness—whether in clinical, therapeutic, spiritual, or transpersonal contexts—frequently reveal the presence of natural organisms interconnected by webs and geometric structures.
There are also reports in which elements such as stones, earth, or vegetation are perceived as a living, intelligent presence, possessing a tangible capacity to transmit profound feelings and emotions—of affection, joy, welcoming, and unconditional love.
The scientific system underpinning the ancestral principles regarding the web extending through nature on Earth and in the heavens, along with the interconnection of their systems, was not explained through random energetic forces. Instead, these phenomena were understood through far more organic models—manifestations explained by dynamically interconnected physical and psychical patterns and structures, in a state of constant mutation.
It is upon this connection between the psyche and matter that natural possibilities and experiences multiply exponentially. It is a dynamic wherein different emotionalities articulate across all scales and forms of life, generating an immense organic flow. This elevates the universe and nature into a vibrant spectacle of life, color, and emotion—one that, in its essence, feels, laughs, and cries, far beyond simply being born, growing, and dying.
And when reality presents itself in this way—through models of sensitivity, intelligence, and emotionality that connect matter, celestial mechanics, and life on planet Earth—we find the scientific justification for why ancestral cultures framed nature as a multidimensional physical and emotional phenomenon, meant to be experienced consciously and as an evolutionary journey for humanity.
It is within this cosmic model—where emotion, life, and form intermingle and elevate themselves upon patterns of balance and harmony—that spirituality emerges. This is the third ancestral dimension, the process of sublimation. It is fascinating to observe how many recent advances in modern science conceptually bridge the gap between two sciences and Eras as distant as the ancestral and the contemporary.
From the ancestral scientific perspective, their understanding of the universe's essence rested upon dynamics of emotionality attributed to all phenomena—at all times, across all dimensions and scales of nature, experienced either individually or collectively. It was an integrated system where form, matter, life, and emotions manifested across a seamless, unified network.
The evolution of science over the last few decades has been remarkable, moving beyond the classical perspective that confined emotion as a privilege of the human mind, and progressively restoring it to nature.
In the 17th century, philosopher and scientist René Descartes severed body and matter from mind and reason, framing emotion as an exclusive attribute of the human mind.
This view dominated Western science for over 300 years, even though it was challenged throughout this period—first by Charles Darwin in the 19th century with his publication The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals, and later in the 20th century by researcher Jane Goodall, who demonstrated that animals also possess emotions.
However, the definitive, formal scientific blow to this model was delivered by António Damásio with his 1994 publication Descartes' Error, in which he demonstrated that emotion is a biological regulatory mechanism in the response of the body and matter. By removing emotions from humanity's exclusive domain, he initiated the process of returning them to all living organisms—recognizing them as an essential survival resource of nature itself.
In 2010, this understanding expanded into biology and ecology when biologist and professor Stefano Mancuso of the University of Florence laid the foundations for plant neurobiology, later detailed in his 2013 book Brilliant Green.
Concurrently, ecologist Suzanne Simard of the University of British Columbia published her pioneering studies in her 2021 work Finding the Mother Tree—demonstrating that plants and forest ecosystems communicate, respond to stimuli, and exchange information through integrated subterranean networks.
The early signs of a paradigm shift were consolidated on July 7, 2012, with the Cambridge Declaration on Consciousness. In this manifesto, the global scientific community officially recognized that the structures generating emotional states and consciousness are shared across the entire animal kingdom. It was a formal ceremony bringing together an international group of neuroscientists, attended by physicist Stephen Hawking.
This topic has seen considerable progress at the dawn of the 21st century. Modern scientific evidence is increasingly validating ancestral concepts, demonstrating their importance and their subsequent impact on global legislation since 2008.
This has held clear relevance in Latin America, where nature has been recognized as a subject of rights. Examples include Ecuador's 2008 Constitution incorporating the concept of Pachamama; Bolivia's Law of the Rights of Mother Earth in 2010 and 2012; Colombia's recognition of the Atrato River in 2016 and the Amazon in 2018; as well as in Mexico and Peru, granting legal personhood to rivers and ecosystems.
In Europe and the Anglo-Saxon world, the shift has focused on removing living beings from the category of "things" and defining them instead as "sentient beings"—such as in France in 2015, Portugal in 2017, and both Spain and the United Kingdom in 2022.
These attitudes and legal amendments serve as inspiration for ecological movements and climate debates worldwide, exemplified by lawsuits regarding the rights of rivers in New Zealand, India, Ecuador, and Canada.
These are innovative movements. Even though their implementation may face serious challenges and governmental inertia, we are witnessing—both scientifically and culturally—the decline and overcoming of the dogma of anthropocentrism, a deteriorating worldview that has proven so reductive to the life of the Earth, nature, and humanity.
This is the confirmation that we are taking rapid strides toward a new paradigm, wherein humanity finally embraces nature as an integral part of itself—renewing the way we understand it. It is a revitalized scientific model where human life and the laws of the universe align and correspond—where the teachings of ancient civilizations will be able to offer a profound contribution to the building of a new Era and a heightened cosmic consciousness.↑ Top

The technological model of modern observation is based on the detection of energy and light waves—a system of measurement, calculation, investigation, and explanation applied across all scientific fields, from astronomy to medicine. It is an emotional and intelligent natural system that reacts to the stimuli provided by its mechanical dynamics, in an articulation that unites the psychical with the physical—forming and being born, transforming and developing, transmuting and dissolving. It exists in a universe where all things possess simultaneous emotional and material projections across all dimensions.
All of this amplifies the importance and relevance of life and form—across multiple planes, colors, sounds, and feelings—making this journey far more than a purely individual mechanical experience. It transforms it into a shared adventure, a manifestation of beauty and perfection, a stimulating commitment between each element and the whole, where every part must fulfill its role.
It is, therefore, an integrated system where each part fulfills its fundamental purpose within the whole, regardless of its final destiny. It is a living nature that transcends mere contemplation, compelling all of its elements toward active participation.
In this universe, at every moment or event in space and time, life manifests through cyclical processes, both physical and psychical—whether in sickness or in health, in joy or in sorrow, across all forms of life and matter. Through this, they expand and evolve—regardless of their condition or dimension, at any point or moment—always within the structural patterns of space-time.
When living beings and natural phenomena experience disturbances, they never return to their original starting point; rather, it is through the process of readaptation that they expand and evolve. It is a system of life—of psychical and emotional form—that is born, develops, and ultimately concludes its trajectory by either collapsing or initiating an entirely new cycle. Regardless of their condition, all evolutionary readjustments invariably occur within models of proportionality strictly tied to the parameters and magnitudes of the space-time to which they belong.
It is a dynamic pattern of matter and emotion that must constantly self-regulate to avoid falling out of orbit or imploding. This readjustment could only be achieved strictly within the parameters of space-time itself, where, even in a more evolved version, its inherent order and laws could never be corrupted.
This is an unalterable law of nature and a fundamental principle of ancestral science, positing that the space-time pattern is the creative mold of nature. Furthermore, it is possible to recognize—in symbols, oracles, parables, and myths—spiritual practices and teachings framed and structured within graphical and mathematical dimensions. These conform anatomically to astronomical laws and order, coinciding perfectly with the planetary cycles and events of Earth's space-time.

From the 20th century onward, modern science has expanded its horizons in new directions, making it possible to establish bridges and correspondences with ancestral knowledge, so that we can finally evaluate just how advanced those ancient civilizations truly were.
Around 1912, with the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, 20th-century psychology developed upon new paradigms that bridged the conceptual gap between contemporary cultures and ancient civilizations. This was a crucial evolution that offered modern thought new horizons and the necessary openness to finally understand and integrate ancestral science.
Jung revolutionized modern thought by proposing the concept of archetypes—elements and patterns of nature itself that find correspondence in the human mind through images and symbols.
This is a conceptual model that aligns precisely with the ancestral system, in which the various manifestations on Earth and in the universe were identified by those cultures in an archetypal and philosophical manner, represented and characterized by their gods and multiple sacred entities.
Years later, the American mythologist Joseph Campbell, in his classic work The Hero with a Thousand Faces, brings us closer once again to the rigorous essence of ancestral knowledge. He invites us to reflect upon ancient gods and myths—which should not be interpreted as failed scientific explanations, but rather as universal psychological symbols.
Campbell immortalized this concept decades later in his synthesis work The Power of Myth (1988), where he argues that ancestral mythological representations and narratives were not primitive fantasies, but authentic "clues to the spiritual potentialities of the human life."
For Campbell, ancestral myths arose in those cultures because there was no separation between the spiritual dimension and physical reality—a unified vision where the invisible plane and the material world were one and the same. Inspired by both nature and the mind, this Hero's Journey is a continuous cycle where each overcome stage paves the way for the next crisis, generating a spiral of maturation throughout the stages of life.
By intersecting Campbell's thought with the knowledge offered by Ancestral Astronomy, we find concrete confirmation that mythology was, in fact, not only a psychical language but also a scientific one. It was capable of explaining how the mechanics of the heavens intertwine with the life of nature and humanity, operating within a unified dynamic that attributed a sacred character to the universe.

It is a linear and vectorial scientific model, grounded in direct cause-and-effect relationships and the calculation of physical forces and chemical reactions—a system operating upon theoretical values spanning from microscopic scales to immense dimensions, relying on formulas, equations, and mathematical operations, supported by supercomputers and cutting-edge technology to explain the universe.
In 1962, physicist and philosopher Thomas Kuhn argued that science advances through "paradigms"—the conceptual models that guide and define the scientific thought of any given era.
This principle, articulated by Kuhn in his 1962 publication The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, revolutionized how we understand humanity's scientific development. Kuhn broke with the traditional view that science advances in a linear, cumulative, and continuous manner. He explained that the transition from one paradigm to another is not a purely logical or mathematical process, but rather a shift in social and historical perspective.
Kuhn argued that systems based on different paradigms are characterized by mutual incomprehension, distortion, and rejection. They represent two distinct worlds, where differing concepts convey entirely distorted realities to one another.
To illustrate and complete this thought, Kuhn invoked Planck's Principle, explaining that a dominant scientific culture is rarely convinced by logical debate—the new system only prevails when the defenders of the old paradigm pass away, and a new generation grows up familiarized with the new ideas.
